What in the World is Going on with Dementia?

A conference for caregivers, health care professionals, church leaders and those interested in learning about what is going on in the world with dementia including Canada. What must change to “live well with dementia”?

Memory Lane Home Living Inc., a not-for-profit dementia initiative, in collaboration with King Township and Seneca’s Social Service Worker Gerontology program, is hosting a half-day conference to explore developments in Canada and around the world that allow people to live well with dementia.

In addition to our distinguished speakers, exhibitors from King Township and York Region will provide information on the various resources and care services offered for caregivers and their loved ones to live well with dementia.

Living Well with Dementia in York Region

A conference for caregivers, health care professionals, church leaders and those interested in learning about the care needs of caregivers and their loved ones on the dementia journey.

Memory Lane Home Living Inc., a not-for-profit dementia initiative, in collaboration with the York Region community, hosted this half-day conference to explore the care components for both caregivers and their loved ones to live well with dementia. We brought together experts, leaders and practitioners to share their insight on various care aspects, including the Dementia Care Strategy.

In addition to our distinguished speakers, exhibitors from York Region provided information on the various care services they offer as they relate to those with a dementia diagnosis and their loved one.
